A Few Words About Orbie

Orbie Rivers is an Independent Associate of Free Card Matrix, or FCM, (just as you will be if you become an Associate). FCM is a multinational intermediary firm with established, unique referral relationships with several major credit card issuing banks. As Independent Associates, we assist FCM by referring new credit card applicants to those Banks to earn performance fees (bounties) and recurring swipe fees based on debit and credit card charges.

Orbie Rivers - the principal managing director of Carter-Tigart, Inc.; my major areas of college study (undergraduate and graduate) were in accounting, business administration and economics. A licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1964, I was honored by my peers by being elected a member of the board of directors of my state society of CPAs at age 33, only nine years after receiving my undergraduate degree and five years after becoming licensed to practice Public Accounting.He has also served as Chief Financial Officer (or financial consultant) for several privately- and publicly-held firms, in varied business sectors: Textiles, print media, finance & investment management, energy, automotive, industrial construction, etc., one of which was his state's 2nd largest industrial employer at that time, with over 9,000 employees.

Since 1983, he has been an advisor to entrepreneurs on deal structuring and financing options in business "buy-sell" transactions, including purchases and startups of several franchised businesses. Other activities have involved formal evaluations of operating businesses to establish likely selling prices or transfer valuations, and court testimony as an expert on business valuations.
